What MoMo[Muscle] is — and is not

MoMo[Muscle] is a technology platform. It is not a medical group, a medical practice, or a pharmacy, and it does not practice medicine or dispense medication. All medical services are provided by independent, state-licensed providers who are solely responsible for their clinical decisions, and all prescriptions are dispensed by state-licensed US pharmacies.

Eligibility

You must be 18 or older and located in a state where the service operates. Completing an intake is not a guarantee of a prescription; a provider may decline to treat you, and if so you are not charged for a treatment plan.

The provider relationship

Submitting forms on this site does not create a provider–patient relationship. That relationship begins at your consult with a licensed provider, inside the secure provider portal. Some states require a synchronous audio/video consultation before any prescription.

Pricing and billing

Pricing is all-in — provider visit, medication, and shipping in one number — with no membership fee. The final price is shown before you are charged, you are only charged after a provider prescribes and you accept the plan, and you may choose monthly or quarterly billing at review. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. See the Refund Policy.

Medication

Use medication only as directed by your provider. Compounded medications are prepared for you individually by a licensed compounding pharmacy and are not evaluated by the FDA for safety, quality, or efficacy. Report side effects to your provider through the portal, and call 911 in an emergency.

Acceptable use

Do not misrepresent your identity or health information, share or resell medication, or attempt to obtain care for another person through your account. Doing so ends the service relationship and may be reported where the law requires.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MoMo[Muscle]’s liability arising out of the platform is limited to the amounts you paid through it in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits the responsibility of treating providers for their clinical care.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Disputes are resolved in the state or federal courts of Los Angeles County, California.
